Team Aubuchon’s “Helping Hands for the Holidays” Signature Charity Event Raises $37,500 For Three Local Charities
(Lee County, FL)– Helping Hands for the Holidays, an annual fundraising event sponsored by Aubuchon Team of Companies, raised $37,500 to benefit three local charities: Make-A-Wish Southern Florida, Ronald McDonald House Charities SWFL, and LEE BIA Builders Care. Celebrating the event’s 19th Anniversary, Team Aubuchon succeeded in exceeding their goal of $36,001. Fund-raising activities coincided with a Rockefeller-style Christmas tree lighting ceremony to kick-off the holiday season, Christmas music by local DJ, and an official visit from Santa Claus. The festivities also included food and refreshments donated by more than a dozen local restaurants.
“Our 19th Annual Helping Hands for the Holidays is a wonderful testament to the giving spirit of our friends and neighbors in SW Florida. We set our goal to increase the amount raised from last year ($36,000), and as a result of the generosity of so many wonderful people we exceeded that goal by raising $37,500! We are grateful to everyone involved and look forward to continuing the tradition next year”, said Gary Aubuchon (President, Aubuchon Team of Companies).
