February Southwest Florida Real Estate Outlook

Welcome to season in Southwest Florida!  Businesses have found a way to safely welcome back our winter visitors and we’re even looking forward to Spring Training starting up again soon.We’ve had another record-breaking month for real estate.  In January, 487 homes closed in Cape Coral.  Overall, Lee County saw just under 1,750 home and condo closings.  The average sales price of these homes is up more than 30% since 2019.  Buyers continue to take advantage of the lowest mortgage rates in decades.  With the Fed’s promise to keep interest rates low it doesn’t appear that will change anytime soon.
