“Guys and Dolls” at Broadway Palm Dinner Theater
March 1-March 30
The story of the unlikely romance between Miss Sarah Brown, a pure-at-heart urban missionary, and a slick Broadway gambler, Sky Masterson. The show’s second romantic storyline involves Nathan Detroit, the consummate gambling man, and Miss Adelaide, the main attraction at the Hot Box nightclub, who have been engaged for fourteen years. Features classic songs such as Luck Be a Lady, I’ve Never Been in Love Before, Sue Me, A Bushel and a Peck and the wonderful title song Guys and Dolls. Buy your tickets
Downtown Fort Myers River District Art Walk
March 1st from 6-10pm
A must do in the River District social scene is the monthly Art Walk. Always on the First Friday, visit the many exciting galleries, exhibitions, and performances. Free to the public with many venues featuring additional attractions and specials.
Sunset Celebration at Time Square on Fort Myers Beach
March 1st and Every Friday and Saturday from 6-10pm

Southwest Florida Reading Festival in Fort Myers
March 2nd from 10am-4pm
Join Lee County Library System at the 20th annual Southwest Florida Reading Festival at the downtown Fort Myers Regional Library campus. It’s a day full of celebrity authors and book signings, great food, activities, crafts, entertainment, and fun for all ages. Free admission. www.readfest.org
Bonita Springs National Art Festival Show at Riverside Park
March 2nd & 3rd from 10am-5pm
Free to attend! The Centers for the Arts Bonita Springs will be hosting a fine arts and crafts festival at Riverside Park which features the artworks of over 200 National and International artists while supporting the many programs of the Centers for the Arts.
Downtown Farmer’s Market in Cape Coral at Club Square
Every Saturday Now – May 11th from 8am-1pm
Overflowing with fresh, local and healthy produce, fruits and foods, along with melt-in-your-mouth baked goods, made-on-site guacamole, salsas, homemade jams & jellies, pickles & olive mixes, cheeses, take home foods and much more.
Pug Fest at Bell Tower Shoppes
March 2nd from 11am-2pm
All breeds are welcome. Admission is free for spectators, and a $10 donation allows dogs to compete in the motorcycle-themed costume contest. The three best-dressed dogs will receive prizes.
Island Jazz on Sanibel Island
March 3rd and every Sunday in March from 3-5pm
Spend a lazy Sunday afternoon at Big Arts on Sanibel Island enjoying the tunes of the ever-popular Island Jazz musicians. Bring a chair and come early to enjoy this free concert in the open air.
Sunset Celebration at the Cape Coral Yacht Club
March 6th and the First Wednesday of Every Month thru May from 3pm-sunset
This family-friendly event features vendors selling unique arts & crafts, jewelry, gift items and more. There will also be food trucks on hand so you can grab a bite to eat and listen to live music on the beach while enjoying a beautiful SW Florida sunset.
Sanibel Shell Festival
March 7th – 9th from 9am-5pm
The annual Sanibel Shell Festival will take place at the Sanibel Community House at 2173 Periwinkle Way. See amazing local shells as well as shells from around the world in fascinating displays. There will also be exquisite works of shell art including intricate Sailor’s Valentines. There is no charge for the outdoor festival but a $5 donation is required to enter the indoor shell show.
Yappy Hour at the Bell Tower Shops
March 8th from 6-8pm
Ditch the bones and toys and bring your pooch to Bell Tower Shops for Yappy Hour, where you can meet adoptable dogs, sip on cold refreshments from the outdoor bar and listen to live music with your four-legged friend. This is a free event open to the public with proceeds from the event to benefit the Gulf Coast Humane Society.
Bonita Blues Festival at Riverside Park
March 8th & 9th from 1-9pm
The Bonita Blues Festival is coming back to Riverside Park for its 13th year for 2 days of live music, beer and wine, and craft vendors. Outdoor event and is rain or shine. Bring chairs, blankets, hats and sunblock. For tickets and the line up of musicians visit www.bonitablues.com.
1970’s Decade Party at Wicked Dolphin Distillery

Join the Cape Coral Animal Shelter at our Annual Decade Party held at Wicked Dolphin Distillery in Cape Coral! This 1970’s themed event will be a night of Costume, Cocktails, Food, Music, Dancing, Contest, Auctions, and Fun for all attendees! Fort Myers Bike Night

Six Bends Harley Davidson invites you to enjoy the sights of hundreds of motorcycles displayed along the downtown streets while listening to live bands. Free to the public with many venues featuring specials.
Fort Myers Beach Shrimp Festival
March 9th & 10th from 10am-5pm
Come join the fun as Fort Myers Beach (the home of the largest shrimp boat fleet on the Gulf Coast of the United States) celebrates its shrimp industry. The 61st annual festival begins with a 2 mile parade marching down Fort Myers Beach’s main thoroughfare, Estero Blvd. Over 100 vendors with arts and crafts, food, gifts, jewelry, clothing will be on site.

Taste of the Cape at Four Freedoms Park
March 10th 11am-6pm
This expanded community event celebrates both culinary arts and music. Sample an international array of great food from more than 20 local restaurants, plus a wide variety of craft beers, margaritas, and wine. Enjoy musical performances from local bands and finish the day with another sensational Symphony at Sunset. 100% of proceeds from this event go directly to local student scholarships and music outreach programs in the community.
Taco Fest at Centennial Park
March 10th 11:30am-6pm
The 93X Taco Fest is a lively food-fiesta held at Centennial Park in Downtown Fort Myers each year. All restaurants feature at least one $2 Taco on their menus. Along with delicious taco dishes, guests will also enjoy live music and an extensive children’s area. $10 admission for ages 3 and older. All children’s activities are free.
Collier County Fair at the Collier County Fairgrounds
March 14th-24th

Music Walk Downtown Fort Myers River District
March 15th from 6-10pm
The River District comes alive on the third Friday of the month as local and regional musicians line the streets. From jazz and blues to rock & roll, many genres can be heard and vary each month. Free to the public with many venues featuring additional attractions and specials.
Tiki Festival in Cape Coral

Naples St. Patrick’s Day Parade
March 16th from 11am-1pm
Free to attend! This is a rain or shine event. The 2019 St. Patrick’s Day Parade will be held in downtown Naples along Third Street South and 5th Avenue South.
Fort Myers Beach St. Patrick’s Day Parade
March 16th at 10am
The Fort Myers Beach St. Patrick’s Day Parade will begin at the Santini Marina Plaza Shops and travel north on Estero Blvd. to the Church of The Ascension.
Mural Walk & Wine Tasting
March 23rd from 4-7pm
Come out to the SWFL Military Museum & Library located at 4820 Leonard St. in Cape Coral for this event featuring local artist Mary Anne Passatore, who has 16 military murals currently exhibited at the museum. $10 to pre-register or $15 at the door. Price includes wine tastings and appetizers. Cash bar available.
