Evalutions by Aubuchon is a full-service residential interior design firm in downtown Cape Coral seeking a full-time interior design assistant who is charismatic, extremely organized, and forward-thinking. This individual will assist in all aspects of the design process and provide administrative and clerical support to two licensed interior designers. Evalutions by Aubuchon is part of the Aubuchon Team of Companies which includes new home construction, real estate sales, title, and insurance services. We have an extensive variety of projects, ranging from new home construction selections to furnishings, window treatments, custom millwork, privacy treatments, etc. To apply please send your resume to [email protected] Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:- Open and close studio space as needed
- Office administration and shipping/receiving
- Run errands and participate in furniture installations
- Maintain organization in studio space and materials library and communicate with reps and vendors
- Maintain scheduling
- Design presentations, visual communication, and space planning
- Furniture, interior finish selections, and equipment sourcing and specifications
- Project management and order tracking for multiple clients
- Assist with client billing, including estimates and proposals
- Interact with clients as needed
- Support and encourage paperless production strategies
- Social media marketing and product marketing as needed
- High School Diploma
- Interior Design Degree Preferred
- Minimum 1-2 years interior design experience
- A passion for the profession of interior design with regards to form and function
- Understands scale, balance, and hierarchy as it relates to design
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Minutes Matter Studio, Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook a Must), QuickBooks also preferred
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Demonstrate creative abilities and applied problem-solving skills
- Possess strong verbal, written, and visual communication skills with all levels of employees, management, and clients
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail
