  • The Little Mermaid  | The Disney Classic | July 7 – August 12 |  A beautiful mermaid longs to leave her ocean home to live in the world above.

Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center 
New art exhibit every month from local to world-renowned artists. Exhibits are open from July 7th – 27th. Call ahead for gallery hours for other times, 239.333.1933. $1 Donation Entry Fee. This month’s exhibits feature:

  • Iberian Influences | This exhibition showcases art surrounding Spanish artists in Florida with the aim of providing cultural education with the pieces.
  • Follow the King  | This exhibition is an open call to artists to create a piece of art (painting, song, short film, etc.) inspired by one of the many works of Stephen King.

  • Gutfeld Live: The King of Late Night Tour | July 16 | 6 PM |  Greg Gutfeld, host of the #1 rated late night show GUTFELD!, returns to the stage this summer in support of his newest book The King of Late Night.

Independence Day Fireworks Spectacular | July 3 | 6:30 PM
The Fort Myers Mighty Mussels are hosting an Independence Day Weekend Fireworks Spectacular at Hammond Stadium that caps a multi-day celebration of patriotism, baseball and ballpark traditions.  The July 3 postgame fireworks show, produced by Pennsylvania-based Pyrotecnico, is expected to last at least 12 minutes and feature thousands of colorful pyrotechnics launched just beyond the right field fence.  First pitch is at 6:30 pm.

Red, White & Boom | July 4 | 5 – 10 PM
Enjoy live performances, fireworks, food and fun at the foot of the Cape Coral Bridge July 4th! The fireworks are at 9:30, but there is much more throughout the day to enjoy. Fore more information click here.

Celebrate our Nation’s Independence at Fishermen’s Village | July 4 | 12 – 10 PM
Celebrate the freedom of the occasion with live music, fireworks, fantastic food, and fun!  It all kicks off at noon with live music in center court and on the dry beach.  The Annual Charlotte Harbor 4th of July Freedom Swim starts at 2:30 at Live Oak Point Park. The fireworks show starts at 9 pm, and the best views will be from the west side of the Sunset Beach Club Tiki Bar.  For a different vantage point, book a Fireworks Cruise with King Fisher Fleet. Cruises depart at 7:30 pm.

Freedom Fest | July 4 | 6 – 10 PM
Come celebrate the Fourth of July with in Downtown Fort Myers! The street fair will feature food trucks all ranging in various cuisine, a featured band, and vendors with crafts and items available for purchase!

Fort Myers Beach 4th of July Activities | July 4
Come celebrate the 4th of July on Fort Myers Beach.  The Town of Fort Myers Beach has elected not to hold the parade and fireworks display as the island continues to recover from the hurricane.  But, you can still eat, drink, and be merry.  Food and libations are available on Fort Myers Beach though some restaurants are still closed. Naples 4th of July Fireworks | July 4 | 9 PM
Grab a spot anywhere along the beaches of Naples for this annual tradition! The presentation will feature a 25 minute display with special effects musically choreographed to patriotic selections that will be simulcast on radio station WAVV 101.1 FM., be sure to bring your radio and tune in to the patriotic simulcast! Naples residents are invited to bring chairs and/or blankets and pick a spot along the City beach from Lowdermilk Park to south of the Pier for the best viewing spots in town, as the fireworks can be seen all along the Naples beach.

Jojo Casillas and Jay Legend at Snappers Comedy Club | July 6
Take in a night of laughter in Fort Myers at the Snappers Comedy Club with Jay Legend from Chicago and Jojo Casillas from Pennsylvania. Click here for more information.

“The Freecoasters” Fundraising Event at Cultural Park Theatre | July 8 | 6 PM
This concert and fundraiser for the Cultural Park Theater Company performed by the nationally known Ska-Reggae-Soul artists ‘The Freecoasters’ is the perfect way to enjoy your Saturday. Food, fun and raffle baskets await! Purchase your tickets here.

Christmas in July Silent Auction | July 20 | 5 PM – 8 PM
A fun night out helping a good cause. No ticket purchase needed! Simply bring an UNWRAPPED children’s toy as your entry “fee”. This event (partnered with The Heights Foundation) is kickstarting their toy collection for this year’s holidays. This event is at The Loft at Overtime off of Cape Coral Parkway.

Eddie Montgomery at The Ranch Concert Hall | July 22 | 7 PM – 12 AM

Downtown Music Walk | July 23
The River District comes alive on the third Friday of every month as local musicians line the streets! Enjoy jazz to rock & roll, many genres can be heard each month. Free to the public!

Rewind Band at Cape Cabaret | July 28 | 7:30 PM – 10 PM

Palm Beach Cardinals vs. Fort Myers Mighty Mussels | July 29 | 6 PM

Shell Factory Nature Park –  There is so much to do at the Shell Factory – check out their calendar.  A month full of live performances and flea markets!

Edison Ford Winter Estates – Visitors to the Edison and Ford Winter Estates will enjoy more than 20 acres of historical buildings and gardens including the 1928 Edison Botanical Research Laboratory.  Open 363 days a year, closed Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.  Click here for information.
