Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center:

New art exhibit every month from local to world-renowned artists. Exhibits are open from June 2nd – 29th. Call ahead for gallery hours for other times, 239.333.1933. $1 Donation Entry Fee. This month’s exhibits feature:

  • The key to Creativity | This exhibition showcases art from various artists demonstrating what they think the key to creativity is.
  • My Family Anti- Autobiography  | This exhibition showcases conventional thoughts around difficult stories.

  • Grow Up Comedy Tour | June 3 | 7 PM |  Trey Kennedy discovered his passion for entertainment when he found fame on the mobile app Vine.

Boots and Bling Dance | June 1 | 7 PM

Peace River Jam | June 2 -4

FREE Tree Giveaway | June 3 | 12 PM – 3 PM
The City of Cape Coral will be distributing 200 trees to help residents recover those lost to Hurricane Ian. Only Cape Coral residents are eligible to receive a tree. Trees are available while supplies last. Make sure to bring your ID to prove residency. Loaction: Rotary Park.

Yappy Hour at Bell Tower Shops | June 9 | 6 PM – 8 PM
The area’s largest pet-friendly social hour, providing an evening of fun for pet lovers and their four-legged friends. Yappy Hour runs from 6 – 8 PM, the second Friday of every month (weather permitting) in center court of Bell Tower Shops.

Fort Myers Gun Show | June 10 – 11 | 9 AM – 5 PM
The Fort Myers Gun Show is coming to the Lee Civic Center located at 11831 Bayshore Rd. in North Fort Myers.  Tickets are $13.  Children 12 and under free with an adult ticket.

Downtown Music Walk | June 16
The River District comes alive on the third Friday of every month as local musicians line the streets! Enjoy jazz to rock & roll, many genres can be heard each month. Free to the public!

5th Annual Captivaville Songwriters Weekend | June 16 – 18
Enjoy Captiva Island’s largest music festival featuring local songwriters. Location: ‘Tween Waters Island Resort & Spa. Click here for more information.

Mid-Cape Coral Summer Comedy Fest | June 24 | 7 PM – 9 PM
Mercola Market in Cape Coral hosts more than a dozen comedians from around Florida who will perform their BEST 3-minute sets in this Festival Showcase.  Special Guest MC Flyin’ Brian Jameson from 105.5 The Beat, and Headliner Carmen Vallone from Last Comic Standing!  Use this link to order tickets.

Cape Coral Downtown Farmers’ Market – Open Saturdays from 8 AM – 1 PM in Club Square. One of the largest markets in Southwest Florida!

J.N. Ding Darling Wildlife Refuge –  The visitor center is now open. The observation tower, a section of the Indigo Trail, Wildlife Education Boardwalk, and Wulfert Key Trail will be accessible.  Click here for more information.

Edison Ford Winter Estates – Visitors to the Edison and Ford Winter Estates will enjoy more than 20 acres of historical buildings and gardens including the 1928 Edison Botanical Research Laboratory.  Open 363 days a year, closed Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.  Click here for information.
