- Murder in Paradise | An Interactive Murder Mystery | August 2 – 5, 9 – 12 | Enjoy a fun night of murder-mystery and comedy alongside a delicious meal served to your table.
Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center
New art exhibit every month from local to world-renowned artists. Exhibits are open from July 4th – 24th. Call ahead for gallery hours for other times, 239.333.1933. $1 Donation Entry Fee. This month’s exhibits feature:
- A New Beginning | This exhibition showcases artist Brian Weaver’s experiences through heartbreak, travel, triumph, and love.
- On Board | This exhibition is an open call to artists to create any piece that may represent the link between the world of skateboarding and art.

- Counting Crows: With Special Guest Dashboard Confessional | August 4| 7:30 PM | The Grammy and Academy-award nominated rock band Counting Crows are set to take the stage with Dashboard Confessional, one of the biggest alterative bands of the 2000s. This show will be at the Suncoast Credit Union Arena, NOT the Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall. It is located on the opposite side of the FSW campus.

Pizza & Wing Street Festival | August 5th – 6th | 12 PM
Millennial Brewing Co. is hosting this 3rd annual event featuring ten local food trucks serving pizza and wing specials, two fully stocked bars inside and outside of the brewery, free bounce house and face painting for the kids, and even a doggie food truck. Free parking and they are located at 1811 Royal Palm Ave. in Fort Myers.
Fort Myers Mighty Mussels vs. Bradenton Marauders | August 8 | 7 PM

Nightbird SWFL: Stevie Nicks Tribute | August 19 | 8 PM
The band known as ‘Nightbird SWFL’ will be hosting a tribute performance dedicated to Stevie Nicks. They will be playing all of the Fleetwood Mac member’s classics – everything from “Edge of Seventeen” to “Landslide”. The event will be in Naples at 8845 Founders Square Drive. You won’t want to miss this special tribute!
Cars and Coffee | August 20 | 9 AM – 11 AM
Come out to Mercato in Naples to view the traffic lineup for the month of August, grab some coffee and scones from The Pub, and make a generous donation to the chosen charity: Laces of Love. Learn more about this event here.
Power Hour| August 23 | 11:30 AM – 1 PM
This event in Fort Myers is a stress-free networking event designed to allow you to meet everyone in the room. It will be at Nino’s Pizzeria and Restaurant. You will sit at your given table, and have a few minutes to conversate with the people at the table. Listen for the bell, and rotate! This is a great chance to meet new people and discover new opportunities.
Fort Myers Virtual Job Fair | August 31 | 11 AM – 2 PM
This is only one of the many Fort Myers Virtual Job Fairs happening during the month of August. All you have to do is register to save your spot, and the rest is a breeze!
